Sika was born in France from a Beninese father and a Polish mother.She'd been practicing Cuban Salsa for 5 years when she fell in love with the sensuality and the footwork of Kizomba Dance.
Attracted by England, she decides to move to London in 2007 where she litterally falls in love with Kizomba. After only a few months of practice, she reaches the finals of the 2009 UK eliminations to AfricaDancar! She then joined Studio Afro Latino as a Salsa & Kizomba teacher.
Well known for her technic and ginga, she teaches/performs internationally. She also does dance competition coaching and kizomba teacher training. She trained Donny Duddikoff and Nathalie Levif, Karima Chkioua, Christian Jean-Francois.

KHALIFA FORTE:

Although born and raised in South London, Khalifa has a mixed background consisting of a Bajan father and an American mother.
He was introduced to Kizomba almost two years ago now by a friend and was hooked from my first Batuke experience in 2011!! A year later Khalifa had the pleasure to perform and be part of the student project. Such a fun and challenging experience!
Outside of the Kizomba scene khalifa likes to keep himself busy which at times gets a little hectic. His occupation is as a chartered surveyor working for DTZ (international property consultancy company) after a long 7 year apprenticeship. Around his work he finds time to fit in his calisthenics, training with a growing team under the Bar-Tendaz banner. The gym regime consists of body weight exercises and natural body movement based around various gym frames.He also does Thai boxing.

Christian Jean-Francois

From the French Caribbean, has had a long career in the music and dance industry having founded both Latin Quarter and JFC Records / JFC Music.

Christian teaches Salsa, Rueda de Casino, Kizomba and Kizomba de Roda. His popularity and innovative teaching methods were recently recognised as Christian was voted Best Male Kizomba Teacher of the Year in 2011. In addition to teaching dance, Christian is also a sought after Salsa and Kizomba DJ featuring under the name DJ Christiano.

Christian has worked with the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) to establish international standards for the teaching of Kizomba. This enables instructors to become qualified and students to achieve medals for Kizomba dance providing both incentives and rewards at all levels of ability.Christian also holds an Adjudicator License from the British Dance Council.

Kizomba de Roda is a new style of dancing. Christian is responsible for putting this style of dance together and has written the syllabus for Kizomba De Roda. Through the UKA, this syllabus is now being used to teach this new, exciting dance worldwide.

As well as teaching, Christian is also an accomplished dance performer having competed in both the South East Salsa Championships and the King & Queen of Salsa Competitions.
